The Wacko is an extremely diverse design, it can be a one-board quiver. It’s as manoeuvrable as a shortboard with as much bite in good waves as a step-up. Initially designed for barrel-riding, the concept of the board is to keep the overall length down so to be more manoeuvrable but maintain the paddle power and hold of a longer board. It’s good for wedging, slabbing waves as the short length benefits steeper drops and the pulled-in tail gives it more control at high speed. The Wacko is also a great follow-on as a better wave board for those who ride a wider, high-volume shortboard.
