The Sniper is my all round shortboard model, designed for high performance progressive surfing. What’s great about this board is its ability to grab hold of a wave when on rail and also maintain the ability to drift the tail or perform explosive manoeuvres with control in all conditions. The Sniper is a deep single-concave shortboard with a slight double-concave between the fin area. The speed and arcing capabilities of this board are second to none. It’s amazingly lively and drivey with a medium boxy rail that keeps the Sniper forgiving at the same time. It has a flowing rocker that accelerates through the nose and tail curve, enabling the board to turn sharply in the pocket of the wave. The Sniper model is a favourite with my team riders and works well with all tail shapes.
