Walshy is a good friend of mine. We’ve been working together on his Guns, Quad’s and Tube-Riding boards for many years now. I started shaping a quiver of boards each year for him for the Von Zipper Teauhpoo Trials in Tahiti and together we developed my Quad designs alot.
The last few years Anthony has been riding for Gunther Rohn Surfboards but we have maintained our surfer/shaper relationship and have been working on developing shortened length tube riding designs that allow you to ride a shorter board in larger waves.
Anthony’s skill and experience in the barrel has provided excellent feedback with my development and designing of quad fins and their placement on the board. The progress has been invaluable and a lot of fun for me in the process. Walshy won his first WQS event in Chile last year on a 5’7 Wacko model I made him, I hope he continues his success in the future.
